Asperger Musicians

In the course of research I have been surprised how many musicians exhibit heightened autistic traits in certain areas such as strong local coherence. These are generally sub-clinical or in insufficient combination to warrant diagnosis, but point to some features of the autistic phenotype that lends itself to music-making.
