Students

As indicated previously, people with Asperger's Syndrome and HFA have a higher than average likelihood of entering tertiary education but a less than average rate of success. As recognition of the traits of autism and their impact on adolescents and adults improves and opportunities for academic enrolment increase, students have the opportunity to capitalise on ASD strengths. Self-knowledge and self-advocacy are important parts of that process. If you are a student with Asperger's or ASD, I hope that Allan's story might be useful.
